Star Dust Tiles

To work this Tutorial you will need: Paint Shop Pro, Simple filters and a Tube of your choice, I used a Wizard tube that I made from a tut at Dawns theme's , you can go here, to make your own Wizard tube, or you can download one of mine from here or use any tube that you desire.

Lets get started:

Open a new image 200x200 transparent,
for your background colour select a dark colour from your tube, I used the dark colour of the wizards cloak trim,
for your foreground colour select a textured gold pattern fill.
Floodfill your image with your dark colour then add a new raster layer.

Select your paintbrush and set to the custom brush settings as shown in the screen shots, you need not use the same brush as I did if your psp does not have it, a similar one will work fine, just use the same settings.

Use the paintbrush in a single circular motion in the centre of the tile.

Effects/Texture Effects/Mosaic Antique with these settings Columns + Rows 25, Symmetric checked, Opacity 50, Grout width 10, Grout opacity 50.

Add a new raster layer and select the tube you are using, you will need to set the scale before use, for the wizard I set it at 25, for the angel I used it set at 60, it will just depend upon which tube you chose to use and how large it is to start with.

Place your cursor at 100x100 and apply your tube onto the tile.

Effects/Sharpen/Sharpen, repeat the sharpen again.

Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow with these settings, V+H=0, O=40, B=40, Colour=#FFFFC0.

Layers/merge/merge all flatten.

Effects/Plugin Filters/Simple/Quick Tile.

Name and save as .jpg or .gif.
